Tower I - Cybergrowth

A series of towers made using combined practices, ranging from procedural simulations in Houdini, to sculpting and arraying, to making assets and kitbashing.

This particular one was fun to put together and kinda involved a couple of days of iteration and shape discovery. I started off by creating little modular units that looked kinda like art-deco scaffolding and then proceeded to create a mini-set of structural elements which I used to build the core of the tower.

Then I started more organic sculpting on another mesh - pushing/pulling/massing/clipping primarily - simply tools.

The red organic mass was further refined in Houdini where I wanted to create this organic, growth type of thing, and wanted to be porous but encased.
