For this example, I wanted to test out a grid-based arrangement of a series of containers which would house additional ‘meat’ forms. I also wanted to explore a procedural way of generating meat volumes so as to accelerate iteration time and be able to experiment with novel, organic forms. I mostly derived the organic modules through mountain-sop work and manual mesh deformations in zbrush.

The cages were primarily derived by using shortest path algorithms so as to generate wiry enclosures. The paneling and facade elements were manually modeled and sculpted based on the computationally derived wireframes. Further wear and tear and texture work was done primarily in Zbrush.
